Rough Start?

Welcome back once again! It's been a while since the last blog, so hopefully everyone is doing great! The Lakers aren't doing too great, but we'll discuss that later. The Lakers play tonight, so be sure to watch the game or at least some highlights. It is also Russel Westbrook's birthday today, so fingers crossed he gets a birthday win!

Currently, the Lakers are 7-5, so on the bright side they've won more games then they have lost. On the other side, the Lakers record should be at least 10-2, so what's happening?  The Lakers are dealing with a lot of injuries that are only piling up. Not only are their veteran players getting injured, but the rookies are too. Anthony Davis has been in and out of games with an illness or thumb injury. Rondo has been dealing with a thumb injury and Nunn is dealing with a knee injury, but both should be back within a couple days.

Lastly, we have good and bad news. The bad news is Austin Reaves, the rookie shooting guard recently strained his left hamstring. He's a great player to bring off the bench because he is shooter, but also very competitive on the defensive end. He is expected to miss at least 2 weeks, so who will step up? Well, here comes the good news. Talen Horton Tucker is expected to play any day now and he will be a major part of the team!

All in all, the Lakers aren't looking too good, but once everyone is healthy they will be unstoppable! Not to mention the 3 stars are finally getting used to playing with each other and it's beautiful to watch. Keep an eye out for the Lakers comeback, and I'll talk to you soon!
